Rihanna cancels Indonesia concert for the 2nd time ..

For the second time, rihanna has postponed a concert in Jakarta. Why ?

Rihanna had pulled out of the Grammy Awards on Sunday and then she was the victim of domestic assault at the hands of her boyfriend, singer-songwriter Chris Brown.

"He offered to reschedule but we don't think we'll take it up, not this year at least. This is her second postponement. Her fans are traumatised and we've spent so much money on production and promotional materials," the local promotor said.

Rihanna has cancelled a sold-out concert in the Indonesian capital Jakarta on November 2008 because of security concerns. Indonesia has been on alert in case of reprisals after three Islamist militants were executed early November 2008 for their parts in the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings that killed 202 people.

"The reason is because the security situation in Indonesia is not conducive," said Dive Poernomo, a spokeswoman for Showmaster Live, the event organiser.

She also said that neighbouring Australia had reissued a travel warning urging its citizens to reconsider plans to visit Indonesia because of the threat of attacks after the executions of the Bali bombers.
